Jeanie Lundbom is an English Language Fellow with the U.S. Department of State’s English Language Program for 2015-2016. She is spending her fellowship in Cherkasy, Ukraine, where she teaches English classes at Cherkasy National University, leads English language groups, and generally spreads the joy of English and Western culture! When she is not busy with her English work, you may find her trying new foods or learning to say something in Ukrainian or Russian. Jeanie has been teaching English as a Second Language for 22 years, mostly in California and Chicago. She has taught classes at all levels for colleges, adult schools, and refugee resettlement agencies. She received her BA in Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley, and her MA in Linguistics/TESOL from the University of California, Davis.
